this is the first ep-production of the label airdrops. the
airdrops-producers are view to the future aka dj the extremist
(ulrich schnaus) and highfish (marcin kozlowski). they got known
for their activities at the delicious doughnuts club, berlin and
on renounced events like the famous "mayday"-raves. view to the
future has already released material on tanjobi- and
alphakid-records.
music is music from view to the future is without doubt the
d&b-monster on this recording. minimalistic and trance-influenced
with simple step structure this track brings us back to the
inspirations of the deep blue-helicopter-bomb.
highfish does his experiments in half time/double time moving his
track twofaced to outerspace - filtering the well-known amen-break
for the dynamic flow.
highfish and view to the future cooperate on the track fiat lux.
this one goes for a housy feeling working it out with breakbeat-
and trance elements on a funky bassline.
