Dividers are a three piece band featuring seasoned members whoÆve earned
their stripes in successful touring bands in the past. They are a group of
musicians that know the importance of a powerful live show and deliver a
consistent performance to any audience regardless of size. With a love of
energetic, guitar driven music thatÆs difficult to categorise, the group are
passionate to push themselves musically.
After a few pre-production stints in the studio, Dividers took it upon
themselves to give their music the respect it deserved, booking time at
Electric Sun Studios which was the beginning of the creation of their EP, A
Long Winter. Produced by long-time friend Dave Petrovic, A Long Winter is a
statement of what the band is all about û well-written songs with catchy
hooks. Mixed at Benchmark Studios with artwork from Annie Walter Design, the
EP was launched to a full house at SydneyÆs The Lansdowne on the 27th April
2012.
Armed with an EP thatÆs generating solid buzz, the band now wish to take
their live show everywhere and anywhere; each member is no stranger to a
busy touring schedule and youÆll never know where Dividers will pop up next.
