Early Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer accompanied by
The Soul Brothers at Studio 1 (RIP Coxsone)
The Rude Boys or The Wailing Wailers, in truth and in fact
is the fastest rising singing group in Jamaica. Like most
organisations in this world, they have undergone changes
from time to time - except for their unique style, which,
with their feel for music and soul that is laid bare in
every groove of their discs - has kept them way ahead of
their - well, let's say - students in the business. The
group has amassed more hits since its inception in 1964 than
any other group in the land and as a result we are justly
proud - so it's time for me to simmer down and leave you,
but like Junior Brathwaite I have realized that it hurts to
be alone; he of course rid himself of that Lonesome Feeling
when he incorporated Beverly Relso. I'll just join you
SKA-racters and SKA-rouse with Robert Marley, Peter McIntosh
and Neville Livingston - The WAILING RUDE BOYS. Let's put it
on - I mean The disc.
