| Its CRISTIAN VOGEL's 10th year of releasing records! Mosquito 021 |
| features a celebratory collaboration, dubbed BIG C, between |
| CRISTIAN VOGEL (Tresor / Novamute), DAVE TARRIDA (Sativae / |
| Tresor) and MAX TURNER (one half of METEORITES / Rise Robots |
| Rise), destined to rip the dancefloor to shreds with its bass |
| driven mid-90s sound. SI BEGG (Novamute / Noodles) provides a |
| bonus beat warehouse mix, CRISTIAN VOGEL weighs in with something |
| heavier, and LIKE A TIM (DJAX / Geist) freaks the beat in the way |
| only he knows how. |

| Ouch. Evil, good, funky, shredding and weird as a Mosquito record |
| has to be. |
| Basslines like a thunderstorm on the motherboard. |
| Vogel, Tarrida and Turner in a coproduction that brings back the |
| storm from the desert into the club, slamming onto the floor like |
| a slab of cold meat. |
| The Si Begg remix comes with obscure "This is a party" vocals, a |
| rumbling monstersound with digital acid flavor, easily leading to |
| overdose. |
| Obviously Vogel won't let this challenge rest and parries |
| impressively with his "Bullit Hard On The Boulevard" mix, |
| reminiscient of the indomitable Hardwax sound of yore, only in |
| digital. Last up is Like A Tim with a reduced Halftimemix, as |
| lofty and obscure (third time the word is used in this review) as |
| only Like A Tim does it. |
| Bonus kungfu performances are also included, plus a small, |
| whispering synth solo. Killer. |
