    █ █                senses), contains three vocals from the  █ █
    █ █                then popular singer Patrick Samson, who  █ █
    █ █                literally belts out the lyrics of the    █ █
    █ █                theme for the movie entitled, Gloria,    █ █
    █ █                plus he really gets into it on two other █ █
    █ █                tracks 'Tell Me, Tell Me' and 'Laila     █ █
    █ █                Laila' in both Italian and English. The  █ █
    █ █                remainder of the score is really typical █ █
    █ █                of the Morricone filmworks that were     █ █
    █ █                around during this period, the composer  █ █
    █ █                utilising the soaring and exquisite      █ █
    █ █                voice of Italy's first diva of film      █ █
    █ █                music, Edda Dell Orso, to much effect. A █ █
    █ █                light and airy bossa nova tempi acts as  █ █
    █ █                the accompaniment to her vocalising on   █ █
    █ █                track two, 'Un Voce Allo Specchio', the  █ █
    █ █                performance being reprised on other cues █ █
    █ █                in varying arrangements, but the most    █ █
    █ █                noteworthy being the short lived but     █ █
    █ █                hauntingly enthralling rendition which   █ █
    █ █                is entitled 'Sospendi Il Tempo'. There   █ █
    █ █                is also a fully instrumental version of  █ █
    █ █                the theme on track number seven, where   █ █
    █ █                the voice is replaced by harpsichord,    █ █
    █ █                again short lived but totally effective. █ █
    █ █                There are two cues on the score that are █ █
    █ █                not so melodic, but this is something    █ █
    █ █                that any Morricone collector is surely   █ █
    █ █                well aquatinted with, 'Sytar' is in fact █ █
    █ █                what it says a sytar playing throughout, █ █
    █ █                and 'Dinamica Per 5+1', a cue that I am  █ █
    █ █                convinced is 90% improvisation and 10%   █ █
    █ █                composition, a bass creates an uneasy    █ █
    █ █                background, to which is added chord      █ █
    █ █                crashes from a Hammond organ, these are  █ █
    █ █                then supported by muted brass along the  █ █
    █ █                way. The final cue from 'La Stagione Dei █ █
    █ █                Sensi' is also a little odd, a waltz     █ █
    █ █                entitled 'In The Quatri', which I think  █ █
    █ █                is just a touch of satire from the       █ █
    █ █                composer. An original and often          █ █
    █ █                entertaining collection of themes, which █ █
    █ █                no Morricone fan should be without.      █ █
