Anacron, whose name means "timeless", first touched down as
an artist through independently produced cassette and vinyl
releases in the mid-1990's. A professionally-trained
musician since the age of 6, Anacron has lived a life
rooted in music and creativity. A former student of the
late legendary jazz saxophonist Bill Green, Anacron also
studied under working session and scoring musician Brice
Martin, earning notable reward from the Charles ôDoloö
Coker Jazz Scholarship Foundation. Anacron graduated from
Los AngelesÆ prestigious Alexander Hamilton Music Academy,
where he founded the Peanut Gallery Network, a global
coalition of artists dedicated to expressing originality
through creativity. Hamilton Music Academy is where he met
and collaborated with artists like People Under The Stairs,
members of Living Legends, Bad Lucc of Snoop DoggÆs Dubb
Union. Around this time was also when The Netherworlds was
formed; a group consisting of Anacron, Himself, and former
"Warner Brothers artist Murs. That union eventually brought
forth one of the west coast's most heralded underground
classics, "Pals"; a full-length LP produced entirely by,
and featuring vocal performances by Anacron.
Anacron æs collaborations over the years have extended
through every medium of art that he practices, pairing him
with some of the most astounding rappers, singers, DJÆs,
musicians, and record producers of this generation. He has
recorded, produced, remixed, and/or toured with top-buzzing
artists like Citizen King, Ras Kass, Fukadesi, Casual
(Heiroglyphics), King Fantastic, DJ Jedi, Sunspot Jonz, DJ
Jesse De La Pena, Eligh, Liquid Soul, Molemen, and KV Beats
(Denmark). "
