│ Ross Hogg (aka Duppy Ranks) moved to SF from Austin, Texas in │
│ 1997 and has been amassing records and skills ever since. His │
│ love for vinyl was born on his sixth birthday when his older │
│ sister gave him "Sir Duke" by Stevie Wonder on 7-inch. He hasn't │
│ looked back since. He stil plays Stevie Wonder records, but he │
│ also has a comprehensive knowledge of hip-hop, dancehall, roots │
│ reggae, dub, and sweet soul music. Along with DJ Neta, he's half │
│ of Ital Selection HiFi, and he recently provided the scratches │
│ on several songs for Oakland's Bukue One. He holds down │
│ residencies at Dig (Nickie's, 460 Haight Street), Electric │
│ Relaxation (Amnesia, 853 Valencia Street), and Double Dutch │
│ (1751 Social Club, 1751 Fulton at Masonic) and gigs all over the │
│ Bay Area. He also writes for XLR8R magazine and judges the Zebra │
│ Records DJ battles. │

│ │
│ soup extend greetings and thanks to everyone at NuHS, and anyone │
