faceball 2000 is the moniker used by nicolas chaix for his more
dancefloor-oriented production work. this first ep has a definite
eighties feel to it and yet, chaix doesn't indulge in stale
revival mimicry but rather decorates the era's myths (electro,
acid house, paradise garage) with his own paraphernalia. the two
tracks featured here will thus strike listeners as odd and
inspired as well as downright catchy.
