Founded in 1999 by Percy Carey aka MF Grimm, Day By Day
Entertainment is the New York City based record label and
production company that formed the platform for Carey's own
music. Releasing key Grimm full length installments like
"Scars & Memories" and "The Downfall Of Ibliys: A Ghetto
Opera", Day By Day also broke new ground during the 00s for
artists like Count Bass D, Parallel Thought, Lightheaded,
Jeff Spec, and many more. "A Piece Of The Action" was the
label's introduction compilation, featuring a bunch of hot
tracks from the stellar indie talents of Dept. Of Rec,
Emanon, Lexicon, iCON The Mic King, Moka Only, and more.
Hip Hop compilations never come this dope no more!
