|::| clear evidence of Van Hoesen's continual |::|
|::| experiments into sound. With a clear progression,|::|
|::| the album ascends patiently from perplexing sound|::|
|::| pieces into fierce club-ready movements, spanning|::|
|::| 60 minutes. |::|

|::| Sourced from enough material to fill two albums, |::|
|::| 'Perceiver' represents a huge body of work - an |::|
|::| audio collage, spanning reduced modular |::|
|::| electronics, richly textured electronica and |::|

|::| The opening tracks of the LP explore |::|
|::| gently-abstract and rhythmic zones. It is clear |::|
|::| that intricacy and diversity are high on Van |::|
|::| Hoesen's sonic agenda. The album's initial |::|
|::| voyage, 'Objects From The Past', or the revolving|::|
|::| organic details of 'Spectral Participant', are |::|
|::| but a few examples of the depth and scope of this|::|
