█ . │▓ Singer, Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hamza Namira is from an █
█ . │▓ Egyptian-Muslim family. He was deeply affected by Islamic principles and █
█ . │▓ religious studies was a favourite subject. He was also interested in the █
█ . │▓ Arabic language and Typography. █

█ . │▓ Hamza didn't come from a musical background, During his teens, a musical █
█ . │▓ interest started to develop and set about learning the keyboard, guitar █
█ . │▓ and Oud (Middle Eastern style Mandolin). He composed his first songs and █
█ . │▓ succeeded in getting a few like-minded friends together and went through █
█ . │▓ what he calls "The Musical Bands Experience". Nowadays he realises the █
█ . │▓ importance of studying music on a professional level. █

█ . │▓ Hamza Namira is being hailed as the "new Sayyid Darwish". Often compared █
█ . │▓ to Sayyid Darwish, Mohammed Mounir and Ahmed Mounib, Hamza's uniqueness is █
█ . │▓ not only being one of the faces of the Arabic modern culture, but also his █
█ . │▓ insistence on discussing the real and relevant social and humanitarian █
█ . │▓ issues through his songs, to keep us firmly rooted in our culture and █
█ . │▓ tradition, and dreaming of a better future. █
