│ The sonic nature of A Gent Agent marks a slight change of pace │
│ for those familiar with Daedelusüf Plug Research and Mush │
│ releases. Here, his aural experimentation veers even further │
│ into sampling territory. Hip-hop, IDM and island rhythms clash. │
│ Hand-spun vinyl manipulations inject a human element, though │
│ sharp ears may still pick out an occasional snippet of the live │
│ instrumentation Daedelus is known for. │

│ From cover to content, an overriding espionage theme courses │
│ throughout A Gent Agent. A curious track-to-track continuity is │
│ a prime example; cinematic sound-bytes from the üe60s are meant │
│ to represent the forces of good, while no-goodniks are flagged │
