Speaking of Glee, I receive a free and unmetered 1gbit Tier-1 link in
exchange for consistently buying Glee. Surprise! See proof. Who knew
catering to Glee fans would result in a handsome return? That's thinking
outside the box right there. Best part: I actually like Glee myself so
in essence I get rewarded for doing absolutely nothing. I got it too
good IRL to care about the opinion of other people online. You're not
even on my radar. I already moved to FLAC since I have gbit, 20TB and a
$5,000 sound system. Sucks if you don't, it's the 21st Century. I buy
music to promote and support the artist and to archive in my CD
collection (currently standing at 2500 CDs/~$25,000 value). Nothing
beats having the original; certainly not your typo and skip ridden
releases that don't even have punctuation marks in the tags. I listen to
thousands of artists across the world in Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Indie, Soul,
Electronic, Trip-Hop, Trance, Dance, Jazz, Country, Gothic Metal and
Rock. Not for e-Fame, status, to brag about being first or to show off
to a random bunch of people on the Internet world that I will never
meet. Have fun leeching, I can get 1080p movies on my desktop in under
10mins or move hundreds of MP3/FLAC releases in seconds/minutes.
As 2012 comes to a close, the races have averaged around the -7d mark,
which is actually pretty terrible compared to previous timings of -10d
that lingered as late as 2010 and is nowhere near the golden era of -21d
or earlier, so the state of everything is shit when put into perspective
and is nothing to be proud of. You're faster than me, but I'm pretty
sure your efforts do not bring you the toys I get to play with. Also you
actually save me money when you beat me because that means I can get the
CD for my collection much cheaper a few months after retail date.
With Sandy, I wish to highlight the aging infrastructure of the USA and
costly consequences of lagging behind the competition. Gotta kick
Europe's ass right? :D I Love the USA. Only in America is my story
possible. The American Dream is still alive; I started as a poor,
illegal immigrant and made it.
