He's not an easy game for those who prefer everything being neatly labelled.
Mixing styles in a fun-loving and daredevil manner, the sound of Hugo Venegas
is characterized by constant change, in other words: Interactive Noise. If
there are any labels for this kind of music, those clearly would be "Highly
Innovative" and "Progressive". Within no time, the productions of Interactive
Noise gained excited feedback from all around the world with numerous
invitations to parties and international festivals following.Hugo never had
a closed mind about the different genres of Electronic Dance Music. Rather,
the Mexican was instantly fascinated by the huge amount of fun and creative
potential they stand for. After exploring clubs and festival dance floors for
some years, he started producing his own vision of party sound: A
one-of-a-kind mixture of Progressive House, Techno and Electro, everything
stuck together by a strong Progressive Trance groove. First tracks were
uploaded to internet forums and got amazing feedback- soon even international
labels requested to sign HugoÆs music.The ôPlayö EP, released on SpinTwist
Records in 2010, probably marks the final breakthrough of Interactive Noise,
since it proved to have a very refreshing own character that fascinated
popular DJs all around the world. No big surprise that also HugoÆs debut
album "Rewire" gained great feedback the same year. From that moment, things
really took off: He appeared on more and more line-ups in South America as
well as Europe and became an increasingly popular remix and collaboration
producer. At the end of 2011, Hugo is working for his second collaboration
EP with the German duo Fabio & Benni Moon. Beside various contributions for
compilations, also his second album has been announced for early 2012, again
on SpinTwist Records.
