Killa Instinct were part of the early, pioneering sound of the UK Hip Hop
scene. With their debut tune The Bambi Murders (currently sitting at
number one in a chart dedicated to discovering the most influential early
UK Hip Hop tunes) receiving praise from all over and reaching no2 on Kiss
FM's Hip Hop chart, they quickly made a name for them selves right across
Europe, pushing an uncompromising onslaught of the roughest Hip Hop the
UK had to offer.
Now back with a brand new album, and for the first time with a line up of
two MC's, Killa Instinct have produced an eclectic collection of tunes,
which will satisfy both the more forward thinking and old school Hip Hop
heads out there. Hellmonica, loosely based on a fictitious B-Movie horror
film, takes influence from all over - traces of blues, indi-rock,
dubstep, ragga and soundtracks can all be found throughout the 13 track
album. But make no mistake with it's vocal skills, scratching and heavy
heavy productions, Hellmonica is a UK Hip Hop album through and through.
