Sigourney ReverbÆs Bees in Your Bed boasts fourteen fast-and-catchy tracks that
are more noise than nuance, but nevertheless capture your ear and imagination.
ôWhoÆs Yer Muse?ö and ôAre We in This Together?ö are blasts of fury that ask
age-old questions. ôEverybody Wants to Be Aloneö and ôStudent Loan Bluesö offer
observations other bands have been too afraid to make, while ôHell in a
Hamburgerö reminds us of lifeÆs culinary delights. Occasionally reminiscent of
the snottiest Replacements records and/or an especially harrowing speed bender,
Bees in Your Bed comes from a time and a place before Vans Warped, Green Day, or
Hot Topic. Thank God.
