:::: This is the debut album from The Alpha Conspiracy, one
:::: that's been figuratively half a decade in the making. The
:::: man behind the conspiracy, Andrew Sega (aka "necros") has
:::: been a highly-regarded fixture in the underground "demo"
:::: scene since the early 90's. Yet, this record simultaneously
:::: acknowledges and breaks from that tradition, and verges into
:::: a whole new hemisphere of surreal pop-electronica.

:::: The songs traverse a wide swath of sonic terrain: the
:::: cutting pointscapes of Aphex Twin-style breaks, rivers of
:::: ethereal synthetic drones, the subsonic backbeat of
:::: trip-hop, fuzzily strange yet melodic vocals, all merged
:::: with an eerily indie-rock (almost emo!) vibe. Certainly one
:::: could classify it "experimental electronica", but yet
:::: strikingly accessible.
