Releasenotes:
Hayden Berry - the artist behind Visionary Hours - creates his mainly
instrumental music combining a wide range of acoustic instruments - both
traditional and modern. Focusing on the sound of strings, as well as his
instruments of choice - guitar, voice and clarinet - he creates slowly evolving
ambient/neoclassical pieces, full of space and gently revealed micro melodies.
Limited edition of 100 copies in handmade cardboard sleeve.
"The Road to Basho" was written and recorded at home in Krakow, and mastered by
Richard Formby at Hall Place Studio, Leeds.
The album consists of quartet, clarinet, piano and vocal parts taken from other
recordings, which I then looped up and effected.
