When the sun goes down, Istanbul's (34) streets become
busier then ever. The city of 15 million comes alive. Places
like Taksim or Ortakoy are home to clubs like Crystal,
Jukebox and Switch where a blend of deep, techy, chunky,
dubby, tribal and progressive Turkish sound flourishes.
Hosted by Mehmet Koruturk (Medokk), Ali Sahinbas (Fuchs),
Goktug Citci (Cervus), and Yunus Guvenen (Mavi), some of the
forward-thinking young elite of the Turkish Sound, 34 Bpm
will appear on a bi-monthly basis, on the first and third
Sundays of the month, from 17 to 19 GMT (12-2 Pm Est., 19-21
IST), with an exclusive two hour show.
The first part will be a one-hour set by one of the hosts,
while the Second part will feature a guest artist mix.
Guests will include well-known djs and producers as well as
upcoming talents, from Turkey and all over the world.
