│║ Six years after the release of the well-received ║ │
│║ ôIn10sityö album, German 5-piece Pink Cream 69 ║ │
│║ is finally back with a brand-new studio album, ║ │
│║ called ôCeremonialö. ItÆs their second platter ║ │
│║ for Frontiers and the first for newcomer Chris ║ │
│║ Schmidt, who took over the drum sticks from ║ │
│║ Kosta Zafiriou. Mainly written by guitarist ║ │
│║ Alfred Koffler and bassist/producer Dennis Ward, ║ │
│║ the new album is not exactly what I had been ║ │
│║ expecting. DonÆt get me wrong though, itÆs still ║ │
│║ a good one, but not of the same high quality as ║ │
│║ ôThunderdomeö and/or the aforementioned ║ │
│║ ôIn10sityö. How come? Well, for this album they ║ │
│║ have tried to broaden their horizon and the ║ │
│║ result is a less cohesive album than weÆre used ║ │
│║ to get from them. Having written that, I still ║ │
│║ like tracks like opener ôLand Of Confusionö, ║ │
│║ ôSpecialö and ôKing For One Dayö a lot. Other ║ │
│║ tracks failed to convince me à ║ │
