Nonplus+ launch their cognitive dancefloor therapy session 'Think And Change'
with exclusive aces from Joy O, Boddika, Kassem Mosse, Martyn, SCB, Four Tet,
Lowtec, Basic Soul Unit and more. The label's 1st compilation offers a broad
snapshot of where they're at in 2013, ostensibly miles from their Drum & Bass
roots, yet retaining that sense of production weight and dancefloor torque
associated with the scene. The obvious highlights come from Kassem Mosse in the
technoid hypnosis of 'Broken Patterns' and the orientalist EBM of 'IP Mirror',
and we're partial to the no-holds barred big room thunder of SCB's 'Dissipate',
Pearson Sound's rugged shake-down, 'Quivver' and Basic Soul Unit's ruff acid
banger, 'Untoward'. The rest tends towards a tech-house sound, from Boddika and
Joy O's big room tools to Martyn's melancholic swinger 'Bad Chicago' and Four
Tet's driving but jazzy 'For These Times'.
