music is full of androgynous boys howling like girls but renshaw
has a masculine growl that only grace jones can match. yet her
voice is amazingly pliable too. she swoons sweetly throughout
waste away while the music references dub, soul and jazz. her
femininity shines through in these tales of the heart, but we
still reckon she could have brian molko in a scrap.
