lars vegas is one of the founders of the groove attack record-shop
in cologne. one of the largest and best stocked in germany.from
the mid 90ies on hiphop went a bit out of their focus and other
forms of the breakbeat-spectrum got more attention = drum'n bass ,
trip hop , big beat , downbeat etc. with the upcoming of local
breakbeat artists there was a lack of labels and distribution for
themusing their contacts to veteran hiphop artist, they created
the 'groove attack' label and distribution . lars vegas being a
drum 'n bass/downbeat deejay tried his hands on production and
teamed up with former house deejay mojo tom to form the producer
and deejay duo 'karma' . the spectrum works label was made up for
their output and the first groove attack sub-label .
