since teaming up with the gone but not forgotten quadraphonic crew
seven years ago, razor's been an ever-present force in irish
electronic music circles.
whilst the quadraphonic nights at the kitchen morphed into the new
resolution club at the same venue, razor has remained, playing
alongside contemporaries like fabio, grooverider, peshay, bryan
gee, andy c, dj hype and of course bass odyssey - with whom he has
also featured regularly on live bass.
a residency at fabio's swerve - as well as slots at the end and
bar rhumba - have followed; as have tours of the usa along with
dates in germany and spain. he's playing at fabric in january and
a couple more dates as well.
razor has been busy on the production end of things too, debuting
with his "doppleganger ep" (produced alongside hull's finest, fila
brazilia) on the quadraphonic label. while he's currently working
on more material for defunked and beyond, a solo album is also in
the pipeline. in the meantime though, keep watching and listening
to his dj sets for hints of what's to come.
