Tesselate Magazine writes...
Track 1 is Enduser's "There are a lot of angry people
in the world" Kicking off with a ragga style callout
followed by a mutating attack beat, its all go from
the off. Bassy sub callings rumble in the distance
whilst the drums smash and riochet all up in the
place. Vocals bursting out of nowhere get the robotic
police moving and the traffic comes to a halt, dont
blame us they message to the angry commuters, its
Endusers audio attack that is at fault. This track
leaks espionage, and hidden microfilms with a massive
helping of dancehall smash explosion acid. Is all
good.
Pulse hammering hectic drum waves fly towards the
beach with no thought of their impact in "Ill Cosby's
- Burn out". Heavy thudding grinds leaking from
malnourished machinery, gives off a very industrial
style, just as a smooth space melody drops in with a
sunshine snare smash to calm it all down for a
second...but its only a short restbite as the
drumwaves pile onto the sandy shores then propel
themselves at fullspeed towards the city. Mad.
Rusuden is next with "Ana appears normal". Ghostly
bounce calls jump from ear to ear whilst the bassline
calls to you in a friendly coded voice. Smooth but
cut to crap vocals slide and scuff along the rough
walls, spitting out deciphered bursts of language,
which are underlined by a fine piano theme floating
20centimetres above. Killer track.
"Nineteen" from Jerohme Spye begins with a beepclick
glass intro which is spat out of the nearest organic
extraction vent, Slowly transforming into a thudding
beat journey through an underground community of
hectdroids, you are dragged by the parallel port as
the plastic influenced drumpatterned liquor is poured
down your silver lined throat. Quality.
Elegant and electronicked is a way to describe Line
47's "Isil krunq".Amazing blips and transforming
clicks are a plenty on this adventure through your
childhoods toys dreams, as small plastic frogs and
acetate antelopes guide you through the secret
tunnels which run under Cranium City, sparkly
electric syrup by the bucketload. Excellent.
"Zwinglis - Vinacco" is more of a memory boost for
the low on battery people out there, with number
crunching beat patterns and thought inducing melodies
that get you in a feel good mood. The divide between
8bit and 16bit, and its all good. "You know how we
do" truely demonstartes the killer quality that
SonicTerror have within their ranks. For any of you
not in the know about 'Terrors output, this is an
excellent welcome listen, and I guarantee you will be
hunting down further releases from here on in.
