║ Progressive death metal fused with hardcore, and technical influences ║
║ are what make up Foreboding Ether's distinctive sound. Formed in early ║
║ 2007 they put together a demo titled "Casting the Ruins." After ║
║ gigging for a few months around the South East they decided to scrap ║
║ the material and start a fresh as they felt better songs could be ║
║ written. During the writing process problems began to surface. Over ║
║ the next 3 years they lost 2 guitarists, a bass player and a drummer ║
║ meaning progression has been difficult. In 2009, Aaron (Drummer from ║
║ Odessa Step Sequence) joined on guitar and played a total of 2 shows ║
║ before their drummer Scott "Ticket to the Gun Show" Hoenes had to ║
║ leave. This meant that Aaron took over on drums, leaving Ollie, Dave ║
║ and Stu from the original line-up. Although this was another setback ║
║ it offered time to perfect the tracks in place and has become the main ║
║ inspiration for the title of the forth coming EP "Prolonging the ║
║ Agony". They are now signed with Subliminal Groove Records. ║
