| |
| "Really two records in one sassy package, Terminal11 (the maestro |
| behind a recent tsunami / onslaught of freaky records for phthalo, |
| tigerbeat6 and more) has gone where few have tread before. That is |
| too say those few are quite notable, your Venetian Snares, Aphex |
| Twins, Squarepusher at his oddest, Mochi-pet, Bogdan, the list goes |
| on for a short while. So the sound isn't totally unheard, but |
| Terminal11 distinguishes himself in the finely crafted melodies, |
| abundant skim-skitter breaks, and cohesive transitions. Don Maximo |
| and Postmod Premax feel like fully conceived records (something |
| lacking in most of the previously mentioned artist's catalogs). My |
| favorites include "What" and "Speedex", buy this faster then it |
| takes Terminal11 to put together another album you sleep on..." |

| As pointed out in the review above, this release consists of two |
| seperate records put together, namely Don Maximo (Tracks 1-12) and |
| Postmod Premax (Tracks 13-21). Apart from the names already |
| mentioned (Venetian Snares, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, ...) I'd like |
| to throw in Xanopticon as well. If you like one or several of the |
| aforementioned artists, this release is for you. |
