│ San Francisco duo PEPITO produce tightly wound electronic music that layers │
│ pop, post-rock and indie sensibilities on a crunchy, rhythmic joy ride. │
│ 'Everything Changes', PEPITO's second album, is a departure from the grainy │
│ noise pop of their self released first album, which made them critic's │
│ darlings, the focus now is more immediate, clean and full of wonder. PEPITO is │
│ Ana Machado (originally from Tijuana, Mexico) and Jose Marquez (from New York │
│ City by way of Havana, Cuba originally). PEPITO is punky IDM with both English │
│ and Spanish lyrics, optimistic modernism, political discourse with the │
│ gratification of an ever expanding universe, crafty songs that hook you up and │
│ never let go, smart bombs, sexy cars and pop deliverance. "Everything Changes" │
│ creates new worlds and dissolves borders, everything is bliss, everything is │
│ sharp and everything is PEPITO. "Everything Changes, is the second album from │
│ Bay Area duo Pepito. Their bilingual, boy/girl electro-pop - which recalls Morr │
│ Music, the Spinanes, and the Postal Service - blasts categories like │
