`: our most recent family vacation to :'
`: the Year 2020. Thankfully, someone :'
`: remembered to pack the audio :'
`: recorder. We documented all that we :'
`: could in the little time we had, :'
`: trust us. æThe HoaxÆ is what we :'
`: escaped with, drug-mule style. :'
`: Craziest trip ever. America, you :'
`: have no idea.ö ù Super Minerals, :'
`: 2011. Wow, what I was I in for? :'
`: :'
`: Popping this bad boy in there was :'
`: suddenly a flood of warm light :'
`: through the psychedelic burst that :'
`: grew brighter and brighter through :'
`: my speakers. Over the course of the :'
`: trip I definitely found myself :'
`: enveloped in the curious, strange, :'
`: and wild sounds that Super Materials :'
`: captured on their trip. ItÆs a long :'
`: mystical journey through sight and :'
`: sound as we receive an experience :'
`: that is for more than just your ears :'
`: but for your mindÆs eye as well. :'
`: You are platonically brought into :'
`: the moments recorded on tape here. :'
`: I feel ghostly present on their trip :'
`: in a really weird way with these :'
`: field recordings. TheyÆre more than :'
`: just hitting Rec and going about :'
`: your day, but are a series of :'
`: expressions like a Pollack or a :'
`: Rothko. ThereÆs that unknowable, :'
`: untranslatable spiritual dimension :'
`: to this stuff. The different :'
`: stirrings and accidentally rhythmic :'
`: stuff create a kind of audible drip :'
`: canvas full of movement, glow, :'
`: energy, vibrancy, and unintentional :'
`: purpose. Getting less :'
`: philosophical, this is just a very :'
`: interesting mix of form and :'
`: technique thatÆll tickle your brain :'
`: in ways you never thought possible. :'
`: A pretty fun ride to let play out as :'
`: youÆre hanging out, doing chores, :'
`: driving, or getting into trouble. :'

`: Limited to 111 pro-dubbed and :'
`: imprinted c54 tapes with double- :'
`: sided color j card, featuring the :'
`: unmistakable art of Phil French. :'
`: The colors, swirls, and flow of the :'
`: cover on here actually convey very :'
`: well the sounds herein. Gnarly :'
`: tribal patterns printed on the :'
`: cassette itself. His label Stunned :'
`: continues to be one of the best when :'
`: it comes to tape releases. :'
