industry with his quality tech-house productions and remixes for
labels like Hooj, Defected and Guidance and he definitely takes
things to the next level on this self produced project. On the main
mix, (A1) Greg lays down lush acoustic guitars, brooding strings, and
crisp Massive Attack style drum loops to provide an appropriately
somber backdrop for his very own soulful melancholic and heartfelt
rendition of Bill Withers' timeless ode to those who have loved and
lost. A blindingly beautiful trip hop opus that gracefully and
respectfully gives this classic a proper post millennium makeover. On
the B-side, Groove Corporation, Birmingham England's leaders of the
new roots revolution, deliver a wicked dubwise version excursion,
employing a slow mesmerizing baseline, funky organ melodies and nuff
spaced out echo, reverb and mixing desk effects to transform this
song into a 21st century steppas delight. Mr. Chin closes out this
star studded affair with the radio edit (B2) which God or Jah willing
