Jamie Trench
As one of the UKÆs most promising producers, 2012 has been the break out
year for Jamie Trench. With his own vinyl label Roots For Bloom and debut
album æRange of MotionÆ set to launch in November, the remainder of 2012 is
set to be the stepping stone for the young Milton Keynes producer, with
releases on VIVa, Kaluki, Music is Love, She Wolf, Say Deep and SKYLAX/A
Fistful Of Wax and his own Roots For Bloom.
At the age of 20 Jamie played out his first gig at the Lightbox in London
before becoming involved in his local scene at The Loft Party in Milton
Keynes. It was that local scene and music education that led him to the
island of Ibiza where Jamie spent three summers listening to and working
with the best DJÆs at the worldÆs best clubs as well as playing at The Zoo
Project, Privilege and IbizaÆs number one club Space for itÆs Closing
Fiesta; a club where Jamie also enjoyed a residency at Kehauma in the Red
Box alongside Daniel Dalton.
His musical influences range from artists like Kerri Chandler, The Chemical
Brothers and MJ Cole, to A Tribe Called Quest, Slick Rick and other 90s
outfits; JamieÆs never been shy to try something different in the studio or
during his sets, allowing the crowd to relax, express themselves and let
themselves go.
As a keen vinyl collector, 2012 saw the birth of his own vinyl label Roots
For Bloom. As a firm believer that vinyl still has itÆs place in a digital
world, Jamie Trench is a forward thinking DJ and producer, but has a
passion for the history of house music, as well itÆs future
Mike Gill
Mike Gill is a Producer, DJ and sound engineer from London. Raised on a
diet of house and garage he was introduced to soulful dance music from a
young age and has been producing it for over 10 years now.
With a huge release on legendary label Wolf+Lamb records in July 2012, and
another 4 tracks out this year on Labels such as House of Disco, Hot Waves
and our very own Roots For Bloom; Mike is fast becoming a familiar face in
the House Music scene.
