First off, I want to state that it's with *utter* despise and disgust that
I'm tagging this as 'Ghost B.C.' and not 'Ghost' as it obviously should.
But yea, the album WAS released under their (forced by retarded American
marketing) new name, so just to be on the safe side and to be fully
compliant with the rules, I'll budge. But I'm not fucking happy about it.

Hailing from Link÷ping, Sweden, Ghost B.C. formed in in 2008. They released
their heralded debut album,Opus Eponymous, on October 18, 2011. UK's Metal
Hammer praised the album saying it was "an arcane occult feast," while this
side of the pond Decibel Magazine hailed they "compel on pretty much every
sensory level," and the Village Voice proclaimed "Ghost is Swedish, heavy,
and tasked with slicing your soul to bits--or at least your ears." In 2011,
Ghost B.C. performed at the annual Download Festival in the United Kingdom.
The band's fanbase began to swell and not long after added some of Hard
Rock's finest to this group. Additionally that year, Ghost B.C. took part
in the Defenders of Faith III tour with Trivium, In Flames and Rise to
Remain. In early 2012, they embarked on their first tour of the United
States and later that year shared the stage with Mastodon and Opeth on
their Heritage Hunter Tour in North America. That summer the band was
invited by Metallica's James Hetfield to perform on the mainstage of
Metallica's first annual Orion Music + More festival. Ghost will appear at
the 2013 Soundwave Festival throughout Australia February 23rd - March 4th,
Coachella on April 14th and 23rd, and will visit cities across the U.S. as
part of the Haze Over North America 2013 Tour.
Personal note; I didn't like this album at first, being a huge fan of the
previous album, it lacked that certain sludge. But it actually grew on me.
It took me about a month and a few forced listen-throughs, but I can
honestly say that this album will please you as a Ghost fan. Just give it a
few tries. It'll grow on you. -k-
