bliss are:
steffen_aaaskoven [producer and composer]
steffen aaskoven is 35 years old from the island fyen in the heart
of denmark. steffen is foremost a composer and producer but it all
began with djing 18 years back in time. since he was 13 he bean
getting into music culture, and throughout the 90ties produced
music. among the classic mental generation track which appeared in
a underworld remix on the first cafΘ del mar.
steffen met marc-george in 1995 with whom the project bliss was
born.
öwe were looking for an african vocal and we approached many
talents. when we finally found tchando, we got the vocal soul of
the sound we wanted to define. his vocal contribution to the band
is uniqueö.
alexandra was a female vocalist from malm÷ in sweden (home town of
cardigans fame) they discovered among some demos they received:öwe
were impressed by her sensitivity and intense coolnessö.

alexandra is 31 years and malm÷. she is educated at the music
academy of mam÷ and is working both as a performing artist as well
as teaching.
öi produced some demos with friends from dream world productions,
which then later ended up at the kenneth bager office. he heard
the demos, and i guess they all liked it, because we ended up
rehearsing together. we made the first bliss album ôafterlifeö
together and released in 2001ö.öi really like the music and sound
that we have created together, and i think that my voice works
perfectly with the atmosphere in the music we make. when we
recorded they tracks, including the new for ôquiet lettersö, i
wanted to make the listener feeling relaxed, intimate and
comfortable. a kind of timeless space wherein you find your own
private spaceö.
marc-george [composer]
marc-george is 27 years of age and began getting into music from
childhood. as self taught on drums, bass and piano, he began to
compose and arrange music. later at the royal music academy he
continued his musical studies, and alongside studing music and the
university. together with steffen he founded bliss.
salvador ôtchandoö embalo [singer and composer]
salvador 'tchando' embalo as another musical contributor to
bliss.as composer, singer, writer and guitarist, tchando have
worked with many outstanding musicians from around the world.
born as member of the fulani tribe in guinea-bissau, west africa,
he grew up within a mandinka dominated area of guineaûbissau. as
an artist he combines the two cultural elements from the fulani
and the mandinka culture.
lived in portugal, france and the last 14 years in denmark.
