atomhockey (by rogall & kasar from the berlin based sonar
kollektiv), took their time to develop an original sound and
finally come up with their first album "play off at the digital
gate"! "never get out" is the second 12" release besides
"s.o.u.l." (pcr 025) and features two tracks from the album.
inspired by djing, rogall first creates a new rhythm that is to
become the basis for a fresh, uplifting sound, unburdened by
previous club music. right from the beginning, atomhockey's music
is supposed to set a standard of its own that doesn't use hip
musical genres or even meet any of the already established ones
like house, hip hop or drum'n'bass. and kasar as a
keyboarder/composer and rogall as a dj complete one another
ideally to realise this idea. a unique style comes into being.
