the next installment from beanfield features the unreleased vocal
version of the title-track of beanfieldÆs second album. the singer
is boris geiger, who sang "keep on believing", "planetary
deadlock" and "enchanting signs" as well. somebody just mentioned
he sounds like abcÆs martin frey. why not?! boris is also part of
beanfieldÆs live activities this summer, heÆs playing percussions
and of course singing, and heÆs a member of syrup and the poets of
rhythm, too.
earthbound from straight ahead recordings, zurich, has also made
tracks for compostÆs fsoj vol. 6, for their label a 7inch box set,
and a remix for joakim lone octet (versatile). this is a clubby
re-rub with much power and energy!
dixon, of jazzanova fame berlin, did these cool and calm two
versions of "the great outside", while adding some vocals as well
and turned the downbeat into a twisted feel.
