     Surely one of the most anticipated acousmatic album this year! It
     took seven years to finally deliver the recent works of one
     undisputed masters of electroacoustic music, Robert Normandeau.

     The afficionado will be delighted as much as the neophyte since
     Normandeau revisits certain concepts (Palimpseste, Murmures) while
     continuing to develop his ultra-rigourous compositional research.

     Normandeau still dares to take risks such as in Murmures or Jeu de
     langues in which the extremely limited material used exacerbates
     the aesthetic genuineness of the compositions. This is also the
     case in the epic and transcendental Anadliad where a basic rhythm
     supports a composition based on the singular timbre of the
     bagpipes. The album ended on the robust Palindrome, part of his
     deep listening cycle in which the author takes us into the heart
     of sound material.

     This sixth album by Robert Normandeau on empreintes DIGITALes
     simply reveals a perfect balance.
