The Lembeh Strait off the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi is a unique hotspot of marine biodiversity û countless amazing creatures thrive in the underwater landscape surrounding Lembeh island.

Over four years, a group of wildlife filmmakers captured hundreds of hours of behaviour, much of which has never been shown before on television.

Incredibly, these filmmakers were able to shoot an anglerfish swallowing a lionfish, a scene resembling Godzilla gulping down Dracula. In addition to this, they filmed seahorses, thumb-splitting Mantis shrimp and deadly mini-octopuses, which are just some of the remarkable creatures that traditional underwater films tend to overlook.

As most of the underwater drama is hidden from plain sight, this documentary uses ground-breaking macro photography to reveal the intricate details and true beauty of life.
