▓████▓▌ result of what happened when Victor Malloy (Russ ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Jones & scot Kenny Mackracken) holed up in their ▓▌
▓████▓▌ bed sit studio apartment with nothing else but an ▓▌
▓████▓▌ assortment of guitars, banjos, one keyboard, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ drumkits, mandolins and one microphone as well as ▓▌
▓████▓▌ an old antiquated sampler. Although this album was ▓▌
▓████▓▌ made on a tiny budget, this highly talented duo, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ who between them play about ten different ▓▌
▓████▓▌ instruments have crafted some of the most beautiful ▓▌
▓████▓▌ songs we have heard in a long time& In a period of ▓▌
▓████▓▌ about three months, they set about writing and ▓▌
▓████▓▌ recording most of these songs spontaneously but ▓▌
▓████▓▌ purposefully wanted to preserve an intense lo fi ▓▌
▓████▓▌ yet beautiful sound which may have some reference ▓▌
▓████▓▌ points (Elliot Smith, The Beach Boys, The Beta ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Band) to very little music that is currently ▓▌
▓████▓▌ emerging out of the UK. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Tracks such as 'Girl In The Hood','Love The Rain' ▓▌
▓████▓▌ and "Could've Been Anything" are gentle everyday ▓▌
▓████▓▌ observations of life around them. Layered harmonies ▓▌
▓████▓▌ and sometimes complex rhythms create something ▓▌
▓████▓▌ fresh and romantic. 'Night In Vegas' is the story ▓▌
▓████▓▌ of one of the few nights the guys made it out of ▓▌
▓████▓▌ the bedsit, a great uplifting yet inebriated ▓▌
▓████▓▌ drinking anthem to a night out on the tiles when ▓▌
▓████▓▌ one member of the band was arrested for disorderly ▓▌
▓████▓▌ conduct. 'Slide' was written the next morning in a ▓▌
▓████▓▌ completely hungover, comotozed state! Elephants","A ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Different Time" and "Could have been Anything" show ▓▌
▓████▓▌ the more abstract directions of the band - here ▓▌
▓████▓▌ they twist harmonies similar to The Beatles and The ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Beach Boys to convey child like fantasies , all ▓▌
