 ████    Formed in 1982 by cEvin Key and Nivek Ogre, the duo partnered      ████
 ████    with Dave ôRaveö Ogilvie to release their 1984 self-released       ████
 ████    debut Back and Forth EP in 1984, their Nettwerk debut Remission    ████
 ████    and Bites. Dwayne Goettel joined Skinny Puppy for the 1986         ████
 ████    release Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse beginning what could be    ████
 ████    termed the groupÆs ôGolden Ageö. Bill Leeb, performing under the   ████
 ████    pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder, appeared on the later three albums    ████
 ████    before leaving to start his own project Front Line Assembly. The   ████
 ████    albums Cleanse Fold and Manipulate, VIVIsectVI, Rabies with        ████
 ████    Ministry frontman Al Jourgensen and, perhaps this writerÆs         ████
 ████    personal favorite Skinny Puppy album, Too Dark Park followed,      ████
 ████    solidifying the groupÆs dominance of the harsh electro-industrial  ████
 ████    genre and inspiring several industrial music contemporaries,       ████
 ████    including Nine Inch Nails. The album Last Rights attempted to      ████
 ████    take the tone of Too Dark Park further but was plagued with        ████
 ████    technical problems with itÆs mastering and release.                ████
