█ █ This is a superb heavy rock album from the legendary UK █ █
█ █ heavy rock band formed in 1971 despite of the fact that █ █
█ █ it's a follow-up of their s/t debut after 40 years & only 2 █ █
█ █ original members on board. Deep PurpleÆs Ian Gillan █ █
█ █ produced their 1972 s/t debut album. Founding members █ █
█ █ vocalist Lynden Willliams & guitarist Bob Cooke are joined █ █
█ █ by some of todayÆs prog-rockers: Dave Meros of Spock's █ █
█ █ Beard playing bass, Nick D'Virgilio also from Spock's █ █
█ █ Beard, on drums plus Geoff Downes of Asia and Yes on █ █
█ █ keyboards. █ █
█ █ Lynden's vocals & Cooke's guitars are in top notch form █ █
█ █ righly supported by the tight rhythm section. The re-worked █ █
█ █ versions of Hooded Eagle, Kamikaze Moth & When the Wolf █ █
█ █ Sits are excellent whereas the new tracks Midnight Steamer, █ █
█ █ Stone Free & others are simply otherworldly. Most █ █
█ █ importantly, the raw Jerusalem sound of their 1st LP is █ █
█ █ affectionately retained despite of slick high-tech █ █
