│║ HIBRIA is considered to be one of the best bands ║ │
│║ to have come from Porto Alegre, Brazil; they ║ │
│║ were formed in 1996 and released their debut ║ │
│║ album ôDefying The Rulesö in 2004 to much great ║ │
│║ ratings, currently holding a rating of 90% of 12 ║ │
│║ reviews in the Metal Archives website. Since ║ │
│║ 2004 they have released two more studio albums ║ │
│║ and one live album, recorded at Japan. Now in ║ │
│║ 2013 they release their fourth album titled ║ │
│║ ôSilent Revengeö. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ ôSilent Revengeö was inspired by the Argentine ║ │
│║ film ôThe Secret in Their Eyesö, a psychological ║ │
│║ thriller that deals with loss, grief, ║ │
│║ unfulfilled desires and revenge, and is filled ║ │
│║ with Power Metal gems that makes you feel like ║ │
│║ you are being punched in the face by a ten ton ║ │
│║ hammer. The star of this album is Iuri Sanson, ║ │
│║ who is by far one of the best singers and ║ │
│║ frontmen of the Brazilian scene, this guy has an ║ │
│║ amazing set of pipes on him, he screams like a ║ │
│║ banshee throughout the whole album with special ║ │
│║ mention being made to self-titled song ôSilent ║ │
│║ Revengeö and ôSilence Will Make You Sufferö and ║ │
│║ the more melodic quasi-ballad ôShall I Keep on ║ │
│║ Burningö. ║ │

│║ This album was released in June, 26th back in ║ │
│║ Japan and as of July, 2nd it held the second ║ │
│║ position in total sales in the store HMV, losing ║ │
│║ only to SABBATHÆs ô13ö, and is no surprise ║ │
│║ because this album deserves it, it is an ║ │
│║ excellent record that helps cement HIBRIA as one ║ │
│║ of the most important bands of the Brazilian ║ │
