| | OPERATOR BURSTUP's career in music started as | |
| | a teenager, when he tried to program tunes | |
| | that sounded similar to the soundtracks of | |
| | his favorite computer games. Back then, his | |
| | weapons of choice were a Commodore 64 and the | |
| | Amiga 500. In 1990 Burstup started to DJ at | |
| | the legendary clubs FLEX (the old one) and | |
| | BACH, and soon he concentrated his DJing and | |
| | programming skills on phatt beats and boomin' | |
| | basslines. | |
| | | |
| | Today Burstup is best known for his hip hop | |
| | group "Schoenheitsfehler" (with MCs Milo and | |
| | Peman) and the jump up project Bassmanics | |
| | (with LX and Spaceant). Burstup's DJ style is | |
| | as raw and pumpin' as in the old days. | |
| | Elastic tunes that rock the party in Austria, | |
| | Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. | |
