Despite having a couple of well-received albums to her name - most notably
2011's dreamy Woman Walking In The Shadows - Jenifa Mayanja is still best
known for being "Mrs Jus' Ed". This is more than harsh on her, as she's a
fine DJ/producer in her own right. Here she showcases her DJ skills, mixing
together a one-track journey through the deeper, dreamier side of house.
With plenty of her own vocals and production contributions from Jus' Ed,
it's a bluesy, soulful and ultimately hypnotic selection that should please
those who like their house to be warm, cuddly and fireside-friendly.
