Germany's Stir 15 Recordings has been running since 1994 and has been
on fire from then until now. This time, newcomers Kain & Aber step up
to deliver three choice cuts including two delicious remixes by Ian
Pooley and C-Rock respectively - the latter of which being one of the
two founding fathers of the label. "Hey You" is a hazy, swamped-out
tech roller with haunting voices and murky percussion shots, whilst
Pooley's remix is somewhat jollier and definitely on a summer vibe,
while C-Rock also retouches the original in fine style by adding in
some tasty synth chords for the dancehall. The duo's "Dance With Me"
is a spacey, mind-bending deep house chugger and the final "Love
Freak" is an absolute belter.
