│║        During 2011, Whitesnake embarked on one of their        ║ │
│║        most successful world tours in recent times,            ║ │
│║        performing no less than 96 shows in over 35             ║ │
│║        countries! The request for yet another live             ║ │
│║        album came from the (still many) fans and yet           ║ │
│║        before the æForevermore World Tour 2011Æ                ║ │
│║        started, it was decided to record every gig.            ║ │
│║        Once the tour was over, The Brutal Brothers (=          ║ │
│║        David Coverdale, Doug Aldrich & Michael                 ║ │
│║        McIntyre) had the difficult task of listening to        ║ │
│║        all the recordings and to separate the wheat            ║ │
│║        from the corn. The result of all that hard work         ║ │
│║        is now to be found on two CDs. The first one is         ║ │
│║        called ôMade In Britainö and it contains 13             ║ │
│║        tracks, carefully selected from the 9 sold out          ║ │
│║        UK shows. The second CD, ôThe World Recordö,            ║ │
│║        contains another 12 tracks and is a selection           ║ │
│║        from the remaining 87 gigs outside the UK. Of           ║ │
│║        course a fine selection of Whitesnake classics          ║ │
│║        pass in review as well as some of the best              ║ │
│║        tracks from the ôForevermoreö album. The quality        ║ │
│║        of the live material is very high and even              ║ │
│║        better than what we got with the ôMade In Japanö        ║ │
│║        CD/DVD, that was released earlier this year. One        ║ │
│║        objection: after all this live stuff, isnÆt it          ║ │
│║        about time Coverdale & co. concentrate on               ║ │
│║        another studio album?                                   ║ │
