Notes:
Devoid of all hope and smothered in a shroud of
pitch black despair, this unholy alliance crawls out
of the darkest catacombs of the psyche, glorifying
the left hand path and mocking the human condition.
Noctambulant Finnish cult HORNA and their French
co-conspirators SACRIFICIA MORTUORUM wallow in a
mire of distain, howling their displeasure through
shrill lamentations and demonic evocations. HORNAÆs
two elegies summon a pained, tortuous state of mind
embodied by agonised shrieks and razor-like riffs,
setting a tone of deep despondency.
SACRIFICIA MORTUORUMÆs quest to purify the planet
intensifies with three tracks born of utter
dejection and steely defiance. Fraught with
negativity and imbued with pathos, the five
exclusive tracks on this vinyl-only release weave
sinister spells and cast an indelible shadow across
the face of existence. Isolated from society,
ancient spectral figures lurk in caves, watching
with knowing eyes as civilisation crumbles and life
as we know it ceases to exist.
A primal antidote to the modern world in all its
pathetic futility, HORNA / SACRIFICIA MORTUORUM will
filter into your subconscious and fill you with
incurable grief. Not for the meek, this depressive
and harrowing anti-life celebration captures two of
Black MetalÆs most derisive exponents at the peak of
