| The three originals from Mark are a more minimal production take |
| on his usual sound, which has become dependable ammo for DJs |
| playing for the more dangerous dancefloors of Europe. Anon is a |
| superlative modern techno track, suitably surreal and certifiably |
| heavy. But just in case the freeks want more, the Forshaw mix |
| explores an aggressively up-to-date techno sound. |

| Artist History: |
| |
| Mark Hawkins is in the vanguard of the new wave of new wave UK |
| techno. Beginning his career in 1999 with a split EP with Michael |
| Forshaw on the latter's much loved Chan 'n' Mike's label, Hawkins |
| was soon noticed by the legendary DJax Up Beats label for whom he |
| has now recorded 3 EPs. He has also released on, amongst others, |
| Automatic, Uglyfunk, Horspielmusik, Framework and Predicaments. |
| In 2003 he began his own label Crime, which is proving to be a |
| credit to his already impressive history. |
| Add to this regular live and Djing shows all over the world and |
| you can see why we are incredibly proud to host his latest |
| release on Mosquito. |

| Likewise his fellow traveller, the peerless Michael Forshaw, who |
| appears here remixing Anon, and whose label and releases never |
| fail to spark sheer excitement and joy in anyone who knows |
| anything about techno. |
