  ▀  ▀▀███▄   ▄▓▓█▓▌  The piece was a concept album, of       ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
       ▐███▌▄█████▀   sorts, that took its inspiration from a  ▀█████▄  ▀▀▀
 ▄    ▄███▄█████▀     roadtrip from LA to New York and the       ▀█████▄
  ▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄   various geographical and architectural   ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
       ▐█████    ▐█▓  spectacles encountered along the way.   ▓█▌    █████▌
       █████▌    ███▌                                        ▐███    ▐█████
       ▀█████▄  ▓██▓  Pin Points, Plumblines second           ▓██▓  ▄█████▀
         ▀▀███████▀   full-length, continues with the theme of ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
     ▄▄▄     ▀▀██▄    maps, locations, and architecture,        ▄██▀▀■   ▀████▄
  ▄████▀▀▀▄    ▐██▓   although its focus is much more local:   ▓██▌ ▐▌    ▐████
 ▐████▌      ▄▄▓▓█▓▌  New York City. Will explains how the    ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
  ▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀   album came about: Taking inspiration     ▀█████▄  ▀▀▀
    ▀▀███▀▄█████▀     from buildings in New York City, I began   ▀█████▄
        ▄█████▀ ▀▄▄   making a list of particular ones that,   ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
       ▐█████    ▐█▓  for me, have a strong visual,           ▓█▌    █████▌
       █████▌    ███▌ architectural, or emotional connection ▐███    ▐█████
       ▀█████▄  ▓██▓  with the intent of each building        ▓██▓  ▄█████▀
         ▀▀███████▀   representing a track on the CD.          ▀█████████
             ▀▀██▄                                              ▄██▀▀███   ▀ ▄
   ▄▄▄▄▄       ▐██▓   Will also sought to explore alternative  ▓██▌ ████▄   ▄█▌
  ▀  ▀▀███▄   ▄▓▓█▓▌  ways of gathering sounds to launch the  ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
       ▐███▌▄█████▀   creative process. Will wanted to find    ▀█████▄  ▀▀▀
 ▄    ▄███▄█████▀     and capture the auditory experience of     ▀█████▄
  ▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄   each building. New York City is very     ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
       ▐█████    ▐█▓  much about movement, so rather than     ▓█▌    █████▌
       █████▌    ███▌ find the sounds, it seemed logical to  ▐███    ▐█████
       ▀█████▄  ▓██▓  remain still outside each building and  ▓██▓  ▄█████▀
         ▀▀███████▀   have the sounds come to me. If these     ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
     ▄▄▄     ▀▀██▄    walls could listen, what would they hear? ▄██▀▀■   ▀████▄
  ▄████▀▀▀▄    ▐██▓                                            ▓██▌ ▐▌    ▐████
 ▐████▌      ▄▄▓▓█▓▌  After the field recordings had been     ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
  ▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀   gathered, Will realised that the music   ▀█████▄  ▀▀▀
    ▀▀███▀▄█████▀     would be too literal if he concentrated on ▀█████▄
        ▄█████▀ ▀▄▄   the typical city sounds i.e. traffic     ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
       ▐█████    ▐█▓  noise, construction work, etc.  So I    ▓█▌    █████▌
       █████▌    ███▌ picked out the smaller, more           ▐███    ▐█████
       ▀█████▄  ▓██▓  interesting bits, like the squeaking of ▓██▓  ▄█████▀
         ▀▀███████▀   shoes on an outdoor basketball court,    ▀█████████
             ▀▀██▄    the voice snippets of passing             ▄██▀▀███   ▀ ▄
   ▄▄▄▄▄       ▐██▓   conversations, or the clinking of a dogs ▓██▌ ████▄   ▄█▌
  ▀  ▀▀███▄   ▄▓▓█▓▌  collar. I then took those sounds and    ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀███████▀
       ▐███▌▄█████▀   edited, distorted, looped and filtered   ▀█████▄  ▀▀▀
 ▄    ▄███▄█████▀     them so they evolved into a more musical   ▀█████▄
  ▀▀███▀██████▀ ▀▄▄   tone, noise, or rhythmical element. Once ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
       ▐█████    ▐█▓  the tracks were complete, I titled each ▓█▌    █████▌
       █████▌    ███▌ track according to the buildings       ▐███    ▐█████
       ▀█████▄  ▓██▓  address that had inspired it.           ▓██▓  ▄█████▀
         ▀▀███████▀                                            ▀███████▀▓▄▄▄
     ▄▄▄     ▀▀██▄    Will also sought to experiment with the   ▄██▀▀■   ▀████▄
  ▄████▀▀▀▄    ▐██▓   tone of Pin Points so that a transition  ▓██▌ ▐▌    ▐████
 ▐████▌      ▄▄▓▓█▓▌  from its predecessor was clearly        ▐▓█▓▓▄ ▀█▄▄▄███▀
  ▀████▄▄▄▄███████▀   audible. In a quest for a more organic   ▀█████▄  ▀▀▀
    ▀▀███▀▄█████▀     nature, cellist Julia Kent and vocalists,  ▀█████▄
        ▄█████▀ ▀▄▄   Paulette and Connie Petruk, contribute   ▄▄▀ ▀█████▄
       ▐█████    ▐█▓  in order to add a melodic texture that  ▓█▌    █████▌
       █████▌    ███▌ blends with the sound of the           ▐███    ▐█████
       ▀█████▄  ▓██▓  buildings.                              ▓██▓  ▄█████▀
