Release Notes
Spring has already arrived at his Secret Playground: The warm air is filled
with cheerful laughter and bare feet are moving rhythmically in the green
grass. Mollono.Bass reveals a very laid-back character but also a very
independent and open-minded approach to electronic dance music on his debut
album. The first track In The Meadow represents not only a humorous hint on
the best possible place to listen to this work but also creates kind of
atmospheric foundation for the entire album in its light and fluffy manner.
The lively hustle and bustle on the Hidden Playground happens in many
different ways: Sometimes it's the frisky bounce of hopping basslines and
stimulating House rhythms, sometimes its hypnotic sound structures that take
the listener on an adult adventure. But above all it's the unmistakable sou
groove of Mollono.Bass, a groove that gives rise to mighty spring feelings.

Mollono.Bass aka Molle is widely acknowledged as a part of the legendary
Kombinat 100 quartett and also as the mastermind of the newly founded label
Acker Records where he released his debut EP >LINSTOW E.P.< at the end of
2006. A year earlier he already produced a successful remix entitled >Hey Na
EP< for Ostwind Records in a more floor and ear candy orientated minimal
version as Marlose's original track bringing out his familiar organic style.
Now he is at it again and we are happy to announce his own debut EP on
Ostwind. Like his productions with Kombinat 100, Mollono.Bass combines warm
grooving and driven drum sets with dubby, harmonic and emotional elements -
intuitively knowing - how to tell the crowd those special moments. All in all
Mollono.Bass lets beat addicted crowds move to an unforgettable set of endless
combinations. Anybody who doesn't feel the need to dance to Mollono.Bass must
be death and might as well stay home.
