ª LtH presents Mat Jam Lamont Show from Kiss100 ª

ª Matt Jam Lamont got his early break at Islington's ª
ª Paradise Club in north London where he played the house ª
ª room. The night became so popular that Matt was moved to ª
ª the main room, causing his rep to soar. When he met Karl ª
ª Tuff Enuff Brown through a mutual friend, the Tuff Jam ª
ª partnership that was to be so crucial in the early ª
ªdevelopment of UK garage was born. Together they pioneeredª
ª this London sound, producing anthems like Kristine ª
ªBlonde's "Love Shy" and their own TJR's "Just Get Better".ª
ªSurviving the rather embarrassing 'speed garage' episode ª
ªin 1997 when major record labels rushed to pick up the ª
ª next big thing in dance, Tuff Jam continued to be ª
ªessential ambassadors for the sound until it emerged from ª
ª the underground last year. ª
